We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Associate to join our team at Payless Sand and Gravel Inc. in Finance. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and maintaining general ledgers.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience with manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, as well as proficiency in MS Word. A strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure is essential.

Salary Information

This position offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation.
  • Keep accurate financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
