As a CVS Supervisor at GardaWorld Cash, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Cash Processing team in Halifax, NS. Your mission is to ensure the efficient and secure processing of cash transactions, while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the department's resources and work processes to achieve optimal efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure that contractual obligations of customers are met, and monitor service levels to take corrective action where necessary.
  • Carry out on-the-job induction training and ensure all positions are staffed and executed properly and on time.
  • Promote the Health and Safety of Branch Personnel and maintain accountability for the performance of the department.
  • Manage staff to maintain the highest level of operational efficiency and ensure Company procedures, standards, and security guidelines are abided by.
  • Brief departmental staff on operational and company matters.

Requirements

  • Experience managing unionized staff and cash handling and processing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and ability to abide by operational and security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and make decisions, as well as organize and prioritize work activities.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience and/or knowledge of the cash services industry is a definite asset.
