Job Description:


  • As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Ontario Inc, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels
  • E nsuring health and safety regulations are followed and conducting regular safety audits
  • Negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities, promoting our services and building relationships
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery


Supervisory Experience:


  • Supervising 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary tools and resources to succeed


Computer and Technology Skills:


  • Proficient in electronic cash registers and point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with MS Windows operating system


Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:


  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure situations
  • Physically demanding role requiring long hours on your feet and lifting heavy objects
