The Dean of Management at Concordia University of Edmonton is a key leadership position responsible for promoting academic excellence and driving the growth of the Faculty of Management. The successful candidate will be a seasoned academic leader with a strong track record of teaching, research, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Faculty of Management in achieving academic excellence and promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and development of the faculty, staff, and students.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to secure funding and support for academic programs.
- Provide academic leadership and guidance to faculty members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Collaborate with the Provost and Vice-President Academic to develop and implement university-wide initiatives and policies.
- PhD in a related discipline with a strong record of academic achievement.
- Proven track record of success as a teacher, researcher, and academic leader.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Concordia University of Edmonton's culture, opportunities, and stakeholders would be considered an asset.
