About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at Alberta LTD. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying and filling staffing requirements across various business units.

Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position that involves strategic talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding. You will work closely with managers and employees to understand their staffing needs and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements through analysis of business needs and industry trends.
  • Prepare and post job notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
  • Screen applicants and advise them on employment requirements and terms and conditions.
  • Review candidate inventories and recommend suitable candidates for interview.
  • Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and conduct thorough assessments.
  • Negotiate settlements and co-ordinate termination of employment processes as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A college diploma or equivalent non-university certificate/diploma from a 1-2 year program.
  • At least 1 year of experience in human resources, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with MS Windows, Human Resources software, and MS Word.
Working Conditions

This position involves working in a fast-paced office environment. You must be willing to relocate if required and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as RRSP matching.
