About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter Assistant to join our team at Sparta Framing Ltd. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced carpenters with various tasks related to building and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs under the guidance of senior carpenters.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding role that requires working under pressure and performing repetitive tasks. You will be required to lift and move heavy materials, often in excess of 23 kg (50 lbs).

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience in a related field is an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
