Clinical Coordinator

The Advanced Practice Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the Diagnostic Imaging Department, working closely with radiologists, nuclear physicians, and referring physicians to enhance imaging services. This position requires strong consultation and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to implement and evaluate planned change.
Key Responsibilities- Protocol Development and Implementation: Develop and implement protocols for CT referrals, ensuring compliance with approved delegated act procedures.
- Patient Preparation and Care: Provide expert guidance on patient preparation for imaging exams, ensuring optimal results and patient satisfaction.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Lead interdisciplinary teams, providing professional guidance and participating in decision-making to improve access and quality of care.
- Communication and Liaison: Collaborate with patients, healthcare professionals, and physicians to ensure effective communication and resolve issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, increasing productivity and enhancing overall quality of patient care.
- Professional Designation: Must have a professional designation in one of the imaging professions.
- Experience: Minimum of five years recent relevant clinical experience in diagnostic imaging, with CT experience preferred.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Ability to lead a team, transfer knowledge, coach, and mentor others, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to self-direct, interact, and adapt effectively in complex, dynamic situations.
