In this role, you will also be responsible for mixing paint to the desired colour and texture, measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and advising consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings. Additionally, you will be required to erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging, and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

As a Surface Preparation Expert, you will be responsible for estimating costs and materials, and ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard. If you have a passion for construction and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired colour and texture

  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Working Conditions:

  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent work term
