About the Role:

Our client, a global leader in the mining industry, is seeking a Safety Expert to support daily operations at production sites by implementing, coaching, and monitoring process safety standards.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities spanning from mine to finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the deployment of process safety and functional safety standards across multiple sites.
  • Advise on operational safety management and foster a safety culture improvement.
  • Develop standard management processes, create implementation plans, and train site teams.
  • Collaborate with safety experts to standardize best practices and deploy them quickly.
  • Report key performance indicators related to process safety health status to the Steering Committee.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • No experience required, but candidates with relevant experience are encouraged.
  • Expertise in Process Safety Management (PSM) standards, functional safety, and related regulations.
  • Proven ability to lead and deploy safety initiatives across multiple sites.
