Job Overview

As a Meat Specialist at Safeway, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing meat products for sale.

You will also contribute to maintaining a clean and organized meat department.

This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer service by answering product questions and resolving any issues promptly.

- Prepare meat products for display and sale, adhering to company standards and regulations.

- Maintain a clean and organized meat department, including storage areas and equipment.

- Receive and process meat orders accurately and efficiently.

- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Minimum 12 months of experience in a retail or food service environment.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary Range: $35,000 - $45,000 per year
