Unlock Business Insights with Our Data Analytics Solutions Manager - HR

We are seeking an exceptional Data Analytics Solutions Manager - HR to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing critical data solutions and business analytics to support agile HR business initiatives and projects.

What You Will Do:
  1. Business Requirements Gathering: Anticipate and action on requirements and future work through active listening and balance unclear, urgent requirements.
  2. Technical Requirements Translation and Documentation: Gather business requirements, translate them into technical and tactical action items, navigate different UIs for data systems, front-end reporting tools, back-end reporting tools, extract and join data, communicate technical barriers and build requirements in a digestible manner.
  3. Technical Solution Design: Manipulate data from multiple sources into visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI, make calculated assumptions to data where needed, quickly connect different data sources conceptually, join data efficiently.
  4. Execution Excellence: Develop and deliver proof-of-concept of a technical solution with speed, influence from the environment, nature, and purpose of the project using real, scrambled, or mocked-up data.
  5. Stakeholdering within Project Framework: Prioritize projects and milestones by ensuring alignment on what is most important at the moment, know when to get clarity when blurry, independently identify and reach out to relevant stakeholders, clearly set and align milestones and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Python, SQL, and Tableau.
  • Able to operate in an agile manner while understanding what's important in the moment.
  • Persevere where there are roadblocks rather than letting it impede moving forward in a project.
  • System's design thinking with the ability to translate observations into tactical, actionable work.
  • Agrees to disagree with a positive attitude to allow for the right balance of compromise.
Bonus Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Degree in business, economics, finance, or other quantitative fields.
  • Experience with HR data.

Estimated Salary: CAD $120,000 - $160,000 per year, based on location and experience.
