Job Summary: As a key member of our team at TG Tax & Accounting Services Inc., we are seeking a skilled Financial Record Specialist to join our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. The Financial Record Specialist will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, maintaining general ledgers and financial statements, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, the successful candidate will have excellent written communication skills, be organized, and work well in a team environment. This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week, and the work language is English.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Maintain accurate financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Reconcile accounts
