We are seeking a highly skilled Child Development Specialist to join our team of experienced professionals. The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree in School, Clinical or Counselling Psychology and a strong background in administering psychological assessments measuring intellectual, academic, social, behavioural and emotional/mental health functioning in children and adolescents.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $80,403 - $123,941 per annum, with additional compensation of up to $2,363 for employees holding a doctoral degree in a relevant field of study. We also offer a hybrid working arrangement and opportunities for professional development through in-service programming.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform psychological assessments and formulate diagnoses using a cross-cultural, equity and inclusive lens.
  • Develop and implement prevention and intervention programs for students, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their mental health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide crisis interventions and support students in need.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in School, Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Previous experience in a school psychology setting is an asset.
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
