Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to lead our accounting and financial planning team at Adamson Systems Engineering. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Accounting Standards.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to support the company's strategic objectives, including capital expenditures, cash flow management, and forecasting.
  • Accounting and Financial Analysis: Supervise and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry, accounts payable and receivable management, and general ledger maintenance.
  • ERP System Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of our ERP system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and providing training and support to the accounting team.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and identify and mitigate financial risks to the company.
Requirements
  • Education: Holder of CPA designation in good standing.
  • Experience: Previous experience with ERP systems integration is preferred, and experience with Odoo ERP is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and analytical skills, and ability to work in a self-directed manner.
