Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Coordinator to join our team at Smith + Andersen in Toronto. This role involves providing exceptional project management skills, ensuring timely completion of projects, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project reviews, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards;
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure effective communication and document coordination;
  • Manage project procurement methodologies, recommending or applying suitable methods for each project;
  • Review deliverables for completeness and accuracy, promoting company standards and quality management;
  • Liaise with contract administration teams, coordinating drawing reviews and site activities;
  • Prepare change notices, responding to technical and financial queries related to the project;
  • Schedule tasks required to complete the project, monitoring progress and performance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of project engineering experience in electrical building services;
  • Certified professional with strong leadership qualities and ability to work independently;
  • Demonstrated expertise in provincial building code, electrical code, CSA, ULC, IEEE, IES, and NFPA standards;
  • LEED certification or experience implementing sustainable design is an asset.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum
