Lead Investigative Consultant

About the Role:
As a Lead Investigative Consultant with the Government of Alberta, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the Commissioner's decision-making process regarding complaints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze results and prepare detailed investigative reports to ensure accurate information is provided to the Case Manager.
- Effectively manage your caseload while providing support to team members to achieve business plan objectives.
- Possess the ability to be called as a witness during a hearing and provide expert testimony.
Team Collaboration:
You will participate in team membership to meet business plan objectives by:
- Fostering a collaborative working relationship with colleagues in the branch and the Alberta Teaching Profession Commission.
- Sharing expertise on investigative techniques and serving as a general resource for the investigative unit.
- Working with teams to resolve complex issues surrounding highly sensitive investigations.
- Contributing to the development of unit performance standards.
- Participating in operational business planning for the investigation unit to drive results.
- Engaging in unit meetings to identify issues, share information, solve problems, and make decisions.
Competitive Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
