We are seeking a skilled Transportation Dispatcher to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for scheduling and dispatching drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers to meet the objectives of the pick-up and drop-off (P&D) operations
  • Assist in achieving the objectives of the P&D operations
  • Maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
  • Plan the P&D activities and staffing required to meet the objectives
  • Ensure drivers are aware of all/any unusual delivery/pickup requirements and update the TMS System
  • Monitor and track all equipment as assigned or moved

Requirements:

  • French and English is necessary
  • 2 years experience in Dispatching LTL transport environment, city/local dispatching
  • 1 year experience using TMS software (Truckmate preferred)
  • A true team player who possesses leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure
  • Organized and ability to prioritize tasks
