As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and expanding our business within assigned accounts. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop unique and profitable product offerings.

A Day in the Life:

  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve targeted sales objectives for revenue and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts and partners.
  • Conduct business review meetings to ensure customers are kept current on product lines, features, and brand strategy.
  • Partner with the Sales Analyst to analyze POS results and determine account business requirements.
  • Manage exclusives, blitz opportunities, and closeouts into product mix for assigned accounts.
  • Manage budget and spend within parameters.

What You'll Bring:

  • University degree or college diploma in business administration.
  • 3+ years in sales within the consumer-packaged goods industry, including 2+ years in direct selling and key account management.
  • Prior experience in multiple channel types (i.e. grocery, mass merchandiser).
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, with prior exposure to retail reporting software packages an asset.
  • Well-developed influencing and negotiating skills to achieve results.
