Job Title: Loader Operator

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Snowman. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including loaders, backhoes, and forklifts, to perform various tasks such as loading and unloading materials, cleaning and lubricating equipment, and conducting pre-operational checks.

Work Environment

As a Loader Operator, you will work outdoors in various locations, including construction sites, landscaping areas, and snow removal zones. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and physical demands.

Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment, including loaders, backhoes, and forklifts
  • Load and unload materials
  • Clean and lubricate equipment
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
  • Prepare accident reports
  • Secure special attachments to equipment
  • Operate GPS and other navigation equipment
  • Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment
Requirements
  • Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
