Job Overview

The Club Operations Manager will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional member experiences and driving business results. This leader will ensure a clean and welcoming environment, outstanding customer service, and revenue growth. The Club Operations Manager is responsible for the performance of all aspects of the club operation, including staff development, community engagement, and adherence to brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Recruit, lead, manage, communicate, train, and develop a high-performing team, including Assistant Managers, Front Desk staff, and Fitness Trainers.
  2. Provide support to direct team members and peer groups to foster personal and professional growth, teamwork, and shared definitions of success.
  3. Address all issues within the club and online, involving employees and members, in a timely and respectful manner.
  4. Promote a superior customer and club experience by maintaining a clean, friendly, and well-maintained environment.
  5. Ensure self and all employees are well-trained on Ignite Fitness and PFHQ initiatives, including the proper tour, info call, cleanliness expectations, and member concerns.
  6. Drive club revenue growth and profitability through membership and EFT growth, reducing attrition, managing bad debt, and increasing retail sales.
  7. Lead Field marketing and Corporate sales efforts in the community, attending local events, developing partnerships, and growing membership and EFT.
  8. Set, communicate, and track performance across key operational metrics to ensure high club performance.
  9. Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, standards, inventory, supplies, club documentation, and confidentiality of information.
  10. Monitor and oversee employee payroll and scheduling, ensuring budgeted hours and adequate staffing.
  11. Deliver brand excellence through PFHQ and Ignite Fitness brand standard reviews, monthly self-audit inspections, and daily cleaning expectations.
  12. Undertake additional duties or assignments within the scope of this position.
  13. Communicate and implement new initiatives rolled out by Ignite Fitness and PFHQ.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
  • A career path reflecting increasing responsibility and proven success delivering measurable results.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of management preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general technology.
  • Experience in a multi-unit organization a plus.
