The Island Health organization is currently seeking a highly skilled Advanced Primary Care Provider to join their team. This is a temporary one-year position that offers an opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work within a Primary Care Network, collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary care team to provide full scope team-based primary care for a panel of patients
  • To participate in peer review and self-review to evaluate the outcome of services at the patient/client/resident, community and population level and to continuously improve quality and safety

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of primary care principles and practices, as well as experience working in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
