Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SRE Engineer to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Cloud Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on SRE practices and tools, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, including Azure, Linux, and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
- Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Drive the adoption of DevOps practices and tools to improve collaboration and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience as a Staff SRE or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including Azure, Linux, and Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with SRE practices and tools, including Python, YAML, Shell scripting, and Prometheus.
- Ability to influence at the Senior and/or Principal level.
