Our Mission

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Policy and Legislation Analyst to join our team on a temporary basis for a 20-month term. As a key member of our policy development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping policies and legislation that impact the pharmacy profession in BC.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about improving healthcare outcomes. You will be responsible for leading complex policy development projects, conducting research and analysis, and providing recommendations to inform policy decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policy initiatives that align with our strategic goals and values;
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on pharmacy-related matters, identifying trends and best practices;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders, including senior management, staff, and external partners;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, standards, and guidelines;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging issues and developments in the pharmacy profession, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, law, or healthcare administration;
  • At least 5 years of experience in policy development, regulatory affairs, or a related field;
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders;
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation related to healthcare and pharmacy practice.
Benefits

We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including a competitive salary range of $90,549 to $108,659 per year, based on a 35-hour work week.
