Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Golden BlueBirds Home Health-Care Services.

Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks. If you are a caring and patient individual who enjoys working with others, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Change non-sterile dressings
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Plan therapeutic diets and menus
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move clients as needed
