Warehouse Operations Specialist

As a key member of our Sotera Health team, the Shipping/Receiving Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of products through our facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify incoming products, ensuring accurate customer counts and lot numbers, and documenting any damage.
  • Operate a forklift to remove palletized products from trucks and move them to unprocessed storage, or remove individual cartons and place them on pallets.
  • Transport products via forklift to various areas of the facility for processing.
  • Remove samples from customer products and coordinate their shipment.
  • Shrink-wrap palletized finished products for return to customers and schedule pick-ups with trucking companies.
  • Load palletized products onto trailers using a forklift.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-12 months of previous warehouse experience, preferably with forklift operation.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
  • Willingness to work established shifts.
  • Proficiency in using computers and analyzing data in databases/spreadsheets.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions.

Training:

  • Complete all required training for a Shipping/Receiving Operator outlined in the training manual.

Compensation:

  • $22 per hour.
