About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead the development and delivery of brand-aligned marketing and communications plans that support our Commercial Banking strategy and business goals.
  • You will recommend and execute external marketing and communications that promote, enhance, and protect our brand and reputation.
  • In close collaboration with our marketing leaders, you will ensure alignment and stay informed about industry trends, innovation, and new ways of thinking.
  • You will work closely with Bank executives, business unit leaders, and origination teams to develop and manage broker, partner, and direct client relationships that drive the growth of Commercial Banking through customer acquisition and retention.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Craft and support the Equitable Bank, Concentra Trust, and ACM Advisors brands in partnership with Commercial Banking line of business leaders.
  2. Formulate brand identity, strategy, and brand value with the Marketing team and support this with the development and execution of specific marketing strategies, including communications, content development, social, industry events, and advertising.
  3. Plan annual marketing budgets for each line of business and strategically manage and optimize budget spend.
  4. Inform and measure marketing strategies and tactics using research, data, and analytics.
  5. Support business leads to build and deliver content strategies for marketing to brokers, partners, credit unions, and centers of influence (COIs), including external presentations and co-branded materials.
  6. Create strategies and implement tactics to enhance the profile of key Commercial Banking business leaders through social media, industry events, and advertising.
  7. Collaborate with the Marketing and Events teams to develop marketing collateral for each line of business and coordinate marketing calendars.
  8. Provide support to the Group Head of Commercial Banking in creating a divisional communications plan and supporting on all key internal communications.
  9. Lead the creation and implementation of annual commercial banking customer (NPS) survey.
  10. Manage the annual Empowering Your Community grant program with credit unions.

About You:

  • You have an undergraduate degree or diploma in Marketing or an equivalent combination of experience and formal education.
  • With 5-7 years of experience in developing and executing Business to Business (B2B) marketing strategies that drive meaningful outcomes in support of business goals, you possess a proven track record of success.
  • Marketing experience in the financial services industry is considered an asset, but not required.
  • You are a keen observer of the economic environment, industry trends, and current affairs as they may relate to the organization and our marketing strategies.
  • You have demonstrated strengths in time management, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
  • You can establish a budget for marketing and communications strategies and tactics and stay on budget throughout a project.
  • You possess sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
  • You have demonstrated initiative and agility to take on additional responsibilities as they arise without supervision.
  • You leverage research, data, and analytics to inform strategy and decisions with attention to detail.
  • You have sophisticated and persuasive written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • You have experience with digital and social media campaigns.
  • You have a track record of developing effective internal communications that have a positive impact on employee engagement.
  • You can develop and maintain professional relationships with senior management and employees at all levels.
