About the Role
The senior security threat specialist is a critical position within the global information security function at Norton Rose Fulbright, responsible for proactively managing the threat landscape at the firm. This involves identifying and mitigating potential threats to the organization's security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively managing the threat landscape and identifying potential vulnerabilities
- Developing and implementing threat management strategies to mitigate identified risks
- Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective threat management and incident response
- Providing technical guidance and support to the incident response team
- Staying up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure the firm's security posture remains current
Requirements
- Minimum years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat analysis and incident response
- Experience working in large, geographically dispersed organizations with complex security requirements
- Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
