Job Summary:

The Sales Associate sets the standard of quality in eye care by ensuring every patient has an exceptional experience at LensCrafters.

This role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in your community.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate existing customer relationships and build new ones to consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate them with optical measurements to provide the perfect vision solution.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
  • Promote a positive store environment by fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain the appearance of the store and displays by keeping them clean, attractive, and organized.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of retail or customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new technology and change with high accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) and a self-motivated individual who can multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. In addition to competitive pay, you may also be offered a bonus and/or commission plan, complementing a comprehensive total rewards package that includes health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
