About the Role

Sonepar Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Total Rewards to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive compensation strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and manage compensation programs, including salary bands/structures, annual merit increases, bonus programs, and executive compensation packages.
  • Conduct analysis and benchmarking of compensation data against market standards to maintain competitiveness and compliance with regulations.
  • Lead job evaluation processes, including job analysis, job descriptions, and job grading.
  • Develop and manage the compensation budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Integrate compensation programs with performance management systems to ensure a strong link between pay and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in compensation management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and expertise in data and financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
