Job Summary

The Algonquin Resort is seeking a highly skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and train the cooking staff.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of food.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff.
Requirements
  • Secondary school graduation certificate and 3 to 5 years of experience in the culinary industry.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
