About this role

We are seeking a highly experienced Consumer Marketing Strategist to join our dynamic team at Hill Knowlton Strategies Canada in Toronto. As Vice President Consumer Public Relations, you will lead client files within the Consumer PR space while working alongside a passionate, engaged and growing national team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns and account teams with a focus on delivering client service excellence.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients, anticipating needs and issues, troubleshooting problems as a fearless listener and counselor.
  • Independently manage and facilitate planning processes proactively with clients and as part of larger integrated agency teams.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate team members, helping to build and grow their skills.
  • Oversee a team of 2-4 direct reports and contribute to driving growth by ensuring team billability and account profitability.
  • Articulate ideas to clients, colleagues and others using strong communication and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10-12 years of agency experience with a focus on consumer.
  • An excellent track record providing client counsel and mentoring staff.
  • A proactive, engaged approach with an ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
  • Exceptional understanding of consumer trends, media landscape, key influencers, and digital trends.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
