The Applicant Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to applicants and clients, ensuring a seamless experience through various communication channels. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide top-notch customer service support to applicants and clients via phone, email, or online chat.
- Resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Document and track customer support tickets using our customer support system.
- Collect and evaluate relevant information to address inquiries and complaints.
- Verify applicant information and ensure all required documents are attached to the customer's request/file.
- Liaise with clients/applicants to gather necessary information for background verification.
- Evaluate and prioritize issues, escalating as needed according to company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent work experience.
- Bilingualism in English and French (required).
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service-related role.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
- Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent typing ability.
