Change Management Director

Solution SFT is seeking a seasoned Change Management Director to spearhead a client project in the aeronautics sector.
We require an experienced Senior Change Manager to join our team in the airline industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing change in large-scale software implementation programs and possess extensive experience in change management. A background in consultancy is highly desirable. This role will also be responsible for managing the training plan and executing end-user training.
The client location is in Budapest, Hungary. While regional candidates are preferred, we are open to remote candidates who can adapt to this time zone and occasionally travel to Budapest for meetings.
Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage change initiatives for large-scale software implementations in the airline industry.
- Apply a structured methodology to lead change management activities using established processes and tools.
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
- Collaborate with change management specialists and Change Management COE to ensure consistency in change management practices.
- Identify and prepare risk mitigation plans to address potential challenges and ensure smooth implementation.
- Support organizational design and define roles and responsibilities aligned with new systems and processes.
- Create actionable deliverables, including change strategy, communications plan, stakeholder engagement plan, training plan, and resistance management plan.
- Enhance communication efforts by designing, developing, and managing key communications.
- Manage and execute end-user training to facilitate smooth transitions and effective system adoption.
- Evaluate user readiness for new systems and processes, providing necessary support and resources.
- Mentor team members to align change activities and communications with the Major Project's change strategy.
- Coach managers and supervisors to assist their teams through transitions.
- Bulk and maintain long-term relationships with leaders and managers through constructive conversations on change initiatives.
- Design standardized metrics for measuring change effectiveness and business readiness, enabling insights for corrective actions.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in change management, specifically within the airline industry Flight Operations.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Technical Field, or related discipline.
- Certified in Change Management (e.g., ACMP).
- Extensive experience with large-scale software implementation programs.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
- Consultancy background is a plus.
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This compensation reflects the complexities and demands of this role in the Budapest area.
