Carpentry Specialist

At Alberta Sound Framing Ltd., we're seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team of experts in the construction industry. As a key member of our crew, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our projects. Your primary duties will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
- Preparing layouts in compliance with building codes, using precision measuring tools.
- Cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Preparing tenders and quotations to estimate project costs.
- Constructing foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
