Overview

The Service Manager plays a pivotal role in PepsiCo Beverages Canada's success by driving service excellence, improving productivity, and leading our people. This position contributes to the company's competitive advantage by selling our service, enhancing cost efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Ensure all routes are serviced daily, guaranteeing every stop is covered.
  • Adhere to gate scan procedures and daily manifests to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Achieve productivity targets and cost per unit (CPU) goals.
  • Meet service level objectives by delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Develop individual and organizational capabilities to drive business growth.

Technical Skills

  • Forecast labor needs, staff, and schedule work to optimize productivity.
  • Capture and track critical performance data to meet time and quality standards.
  • Understand customer business needs and balance gesture requirements with 'cost to serve' standards.
  • Teach and build our service advantage.
  • Coach and develop team members through route rides and audits.
  • Teach safe work practices to prevent vehicle accidents and injuries.
  • Manage regulatory compliance, including Driver Qualification Files, hours of service, Vehicle Condition Report, and hazmat.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends.
