Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, with opportunities for travel compensation and accommodation.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking highly professional and experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to provide nursing care in various long-term and acute care facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering excellent nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
- Ensuring timely admissions, comprehensive orientations, and safe transfers/discharge processes.
- Maintaining accurate records, following protocols for drug management, and assessing resident needs.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate, valid First Aid & CPR, and up-to-date immunizations (MMRV, TB skin test, and Hepatitis B).
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work independently or as part of a team.
