About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacovigilance Specialist to join our client, Eli Lilly, in Toronto, Ontario. This is a 6-month contract opportunity that will provide temporary support during a medical leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, quality assurance, and medical affairs, to ensure alignment on safety processes and requirements.
- Monitor, document, and report adverse events in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in pharmacovigilance systems, ensuring timely updates and reports.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to address safety-related inquiries and provide updates.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Exceptional ability to review and process detailed medical and regulatory forms accurately.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Comfortable using pharmacovigilance systems, data management tools, and standard office software.
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving workflows and timelines.
- Prior experience in pharmacovigilance, regulatory affairs, or related medical fields is an asset.
