About the Role

Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare is seeking compassionate and empathetic individuals to join our team as Personal Support Workers (PSWs). As a PSW, you will have the unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients, providing essential support in our Inpatient and Emergency Departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support patients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate or completed one year of full-time studies in a related field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
