The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building science consultation and a minimum of 4 years' experience in conducting post-construction facility assessments, including building condition assessments, warranty reviews, and depreciation reports. They will also have excellent organizational skills, the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects, and strong customer service commitment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting business development to secure revenue-generating projects, managing and coordinating small and large projects, and mentoring junior staff. They will also participate in continuing education and perform various office-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct post-construction facility assessments, including building condition assessments, warranty reviews, and depreciation reports
  • Prepare proposals and establish project financial budgets
  • Attend meetings and document discussions
  • Perform periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
  • Perform field testing to confirm building enclosure performance
  • Manage and coordinate small and large projects
  • Conduct business development to secure revenue-generating projects
  • Client management
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Participate in continuing education
  • Perform various office-related tasks

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems
  • Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects

  • Pursuing registration as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus
