As a Financial Services Representative, you will join our Toronto office to implement sales and marketing strategies and help grow our client base. Your core responsibility is to generate leads through building personal and professional relationships. You will work alongside other advisors, issuers, and the sales team to reach and exceed sales objectives.

Successful Financial Services Representatives will have the opportunity to grow their careers within the organization or affiliate partners. This requires hard work, dedication, commitment to ongoing learning, and a passion for helping others.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze data and provide suitable recommendations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding computer knowledge and capability to operate database systems
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to explain complex details clearly
  • Demonstrated passion for putting clients first and success in a target-driven solutions environment
  • Drive and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Personal flexibility to work flexible hours
  • Eagerness to learn and determination to succeed, confidence, and ability to learn financial concepts and willingness to obtain the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course

Nice to Have

  • Track record in building rapport and maintaining client relationships within the financial service or retail industry
  • Background in financial services sales or retail sales, marketing, investments, and/or business development
  • Mutual Funds/Insurance accreditation

Responsibilities

As a Brightview Ambador, you will put clients first and find solutions to their individual needs. You will champion the Brightview brand and drive business by supporting new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Proactively engaging with clients in the branch and delivering an outstanding service experience through completing transactions and identifying opportunities for advice, solutions, digital enablement, and partner introductions
  • Focusing on education and demonstration, leveraging technology to deliver a memorable client experience, drive solutions, and retain business
  • Contributing to team results by listening and spotting opportunities to offer additional advice, introduce clients to the capability of BV partners, or personally fulfill client solutions
  • Proactively taking ownership of resolving and preventing clients' problems, providing leadership to the team as a first point of contact
  • Cultivating and maintaining relationships with partners to work as one team
  • Managing risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls to protect client and shareholder interests while completing transactions
