Food and Beverage Server

We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Food and Beverage Server to join our team at SAM'S CHAAT HOUSE & RESTAURANT LTD.
About the Role- This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a minimum of 30-40 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring high-quality presentation and timely delivery.
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings, accurately handling transactions and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers, highlighting the unique features and benefits of each dish.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, taking pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience.
- Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring seamless communication and timely execution.
- Train new staff members on job duties, procedures, and policies, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer expectations.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within the designated time frame, adhering to company standards and deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with menu changes, promotions, and special events, making recommendations to customers accordingly.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in food and beverage service is an asset.
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
