As an Associate Financial Consultant – Digital Channels, you will be responsible for helping our clients achieve their financial goals through an understanding of their personal and professional objectives, recommendation of Scotiabank products tailored to their specific needs, and the provision of timely and exemplary service.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will build rapport and trusted relationships with our clients through active listening and by developing an appreciation of what's important to them.
- You will be accountable for client contact preparation, documenting client notes in our CRM tool and identifying new business opportunities through the proactive mining of your book of business.
- You will lead the collection of deficient Know Your Client (KYC) information on newly assigned and existing accounts, ensuring orders are suitable vis a vis client objectives.
- You will identify and develop new business opportunities to prospect and grow the client base, while ensuring retention of clients through trusted relationships and servicing your client book.
Requirements:
- University degree in business, commerce or equivalent.
- IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative (IR) or Registered Representative (IIROC-RR) including completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) and 90-day training.
- Life License (LLQP) and a willingness to complete other regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of investment products.
- Proficiency in Canada's two official languages is an asset.
