Job Summary

TSS Janitorial is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning Duties: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, handle and report lost and found items, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Maintenance Tasks: Mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and clean changing rooms and showers.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with an estimated $25-$35 per hour salary, based on industry standards and location considerations. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate as required by the job.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position, but experience is considered an asset.
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent physical stamina, able to work independently, and have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking capabilities.
  • Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, patience, and good communication skills are essential for success in this role.
