About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at BROSOHO Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
    • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training programs
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Assist in planning and executing menus for special events and banquets
    • Ensure that all dishes meet the highest quality standards
  • Inventory Management and Supply Chain
    • Assist in managing kitchen inventory and supplies
    • Develop and maintain relationships with food suppliers
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to health and safety protocols
    • Develop and implement procedures for food handling and storage
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and training skills
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
