As a Mold Maintenance Technician at Mauser Packaging Solutions, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our molds and injection machines. Under the direction of the Technical / Mold Manager, you will be responsible for completing preventative maintenance of the molds and assisting in mold changes/setup as required.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily preventative mold maintenance for molds running in machines, keeping records in Hippo.
  • Must maintain complete mold change, mold set-up, and prevention maintenance records through our mold PM program, keeping accurate records in Hippo.
  • Must complete all aspects of full part to full part mold changes with continually thinking about improving mold change items.
  • Must convey accurate information to the Mold Manager on the overall operations of the molds and set-ups and be able to come up with problem solving ideas for any problem that may arise.
  • Must perform all aspects of mold pre-inspections, preventative maintenance, shimming and shipments to corporate standards.
  • Must be knowledgeable in the working and installation of auxiliary equipment.
  • Must perform any other tasks as directed by the Dept. Manager.

Safety:
  • Works in a safe manner according to Occupational Health and Safety Act and Mauser Policies and Procedures.
  • Responsible to bring forward with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Accountable to identify and bring forward to Mold Manager improvement opportunities.

Working Hours:
  • Monday - Friday.
  • 1:30 pm - 9:30 pm / with on call weekends.
  • Training to be completed on day shift.
