Job Title: Head of Strategic Sourcing, Indirect Procurement

This role is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing and category management processes for indirect procurement in the Americas region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering cost savings and value creation through effective supplier management and category strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic category plans to drive cost savings and value creation
  • Lead a team of sourcing and category managers to manage end-to-end procurement processes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, internal customers, and senior leadership
  • Manage complex procurement programs, including negotiations and contracting
  • Develop and implement supplier performance and relationship programs
  • Support the implementation of global transformation platforms
  • Reduce the number of vendors and develop an approved panel of preferred suppliers
  • Manage contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect categories
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings and value creation through strategic sourcing and category management
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading a team of sourcing and category managers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of category management and strategic sourcing principles and practices
  • Experience with procurement software and systems, including contract management and supplier performance tracking
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CIPS or CPSM certification
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • Master's degree in business or a related field
  • Experience working in a Fortune 500 environment
Language:

English is the primary language for this role. Spanish language skills are desirable.
