Taxation Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our team at Baker Tilly Canada. This role will involve providing support to our tax team and working closely with Partners on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent attention to detail and project management skills. They will be responsible for reviewing complex tax returns, providing technical research and tax planning recommendations, and delivering high-quality tax planning services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a CPA designation and 7-10+ years of public accounting experience in a tax-specific environment. They will also have high proficiency in MS Office, Caseware, and TaxPrep, as well as experience working with owner-managed businesses.

• Review and prepare complex Canadian individual and corporate tax returns
• Provide technical research and tax planning recommendations for private companies
• Deliver high-quality tax planning services and advice
• Work closely with Partners on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements
• Lead special tax engagements and manage client relationships

• CPA designation (or Master of Tax Program)
• 7-10+ years of public accounting experience in a tax-specific environment
• High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware, and TaxPrep
• Excellent attention to detail and project management skills

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum
