We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our team at Recruitment By Design. As a key member of our Civil Division, you will be responsible for managing and leading projects, reviewing and sealing design work, and directing and mentoring the design team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in project management, design, and construction. You will be responsible for coordinating with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and engineers, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Civil Engineering Design and Documents for projects related to land development and municipal projects.
  • Design of civil infrastructure, including site servicing, grading, stormwater management, watermains, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and noise studies.
  • Project management duties, including assisting with proposals, responsible for projects from the initiating to closing phases, and being the main point of contact with project stakeholders.
  • Review of designs, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy, adequacy, and conformance to the design.
  • Coordination of daily team priorities to achieve project milestones.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited Canadian University.
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a licensed Professional Engineer with the Professional Engineers of Ontario.
  • 4+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on consulting/design.
  • Experience with Provincial and local Municipality design guidelines, the Ontario Building Code, and other applicable Canadian Engineering standards.
