Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Chief Project Operations Lead to join our team in Canada. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing deliverables across all functions and departments, ensuring that our line of business is implemented and maintained on-time, within budget, and meeting quality expectations.

You will define and drive key project decisions and tasks, obtaining cross-functional consensus where needed. This includes creating a Project Management Office (PMO) and recruiting supporting resources to staff this function appropriately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with senior leadership teams and managers across functions to identify and communicate critical implementation requirements.
  • Review and prioritize projects based on identified requirements and available resources.
  • Define processes, project plans, and meeting cadences for each prioritized or active project, working with the PMO team and allocated resources.
  • Manage key project risks and issues, including escalation to executive sponsors as needed.
  • Proactively manage and prioritize analysis and facilitation activities across key projects.
  • Collaborate with business and/or function leads to refine deliverables.
  • Support change management for larger-scale or complex projects.
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement through regular updates, meetings, and status reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of project experience, preferably in a complex business process environment.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience leading projects in Canadian Healthcare and process optimization would be advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with expertise in relevant business software (Excel, PPT, Word, Visio).
  • Able to work collaboratively with remote teams and at various levels within the organization.
