We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in Vaughan, ON. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design, planning, and execution of land and site development projects. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and technology, with experience in site plan design, linear infrastructure, and municipal infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Site plan design for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments
* Design of linear infrastructure, including private and municipal roadways, storm water, sanitary, watermains, and utilities
* Culvert and water crossing design
* Multi-lot subdivision design
* Municipal infrastructure, urban drainage, and stormwater management
* Preparation of technical reports, approvals, specifications, and calculations
* Field inspection of municipal services
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications from a Civil Engineering or Technology Program or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 2+ years experience, preferably in the consulting industry
* Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
* Possess a valid Class G driver's license and a clean driving record
* Experience and proficiency using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation/InRoads associated with municipal infrastructure projects
